From a beloved fairytale to a unique dishware.

All of us should have heard about the history of the Nutcracker, at least once. Some of us as a fairytale, some as the famous

ballet while some others just as a reference. It is an Xmas story and as the festive season is about to begin, today we decided to tell you all the details of this amazing story and transfer you to another world...

In 1816, the fairytale was written by the German writer Ernest Hoffman, under the title "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King" which was later covered by the French writer, Alexandre Douma.

It is a sweet and magical fairytale about a doll gifted to little Clara by her godfather Doselmayer, in a little German town.

Nutcracker, Stselkudzic in Russian, had the shape of a moving soldier and the function of a Nutcracker.

This gift was the reason for Clara to start dreaming during Christmas Eve.

The star of her dreams? But of course the Nutcracker!

As stated in Tchaikovsky's ballet in the first act, that Eve, when the celebration at home was over

and the guests left, Clara entered the quiet living room to put the Nutcracker to sleep.

The clock strikes midnight and our little girl falls asleep.

Magically, she enters into another, fairytale world. The Christmas tree suddenly becomes huge, all her toys and the Nutcracker come to life and are thrown into battle with large mice that have invaded the room and worried little Clara.

Eventually, her Nutcracker wins the battle and transforms into a handsome prince.

In the second act, Clara and the current prince - Nutcracker embark on a magical journey.

They pass by the Snow Queen but also through the land of Confectioners with the favorite for every child, fairy Zacharenia, making Clara smile in her sleep.

The next morning, at dawn on Christmas day, Clara wakes up, but only in her hands is the Nutcracker, the doll that her godfather had given her. In her beautiful and innocent childhood world, her dreams confused with reality in a special, sweet way.

The Nutcracker is considered one of the most popular ballets in the repertoire, as the emotional power and the theatricality of Tchaikovsky's music enchant all the spectators, younger or older. It first appeared in the imperial Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg on December 18, 1892.

It's a weird story that everyone experiences and translates in a different manner. After all, each of us has different dreams.

But on Christmas Eve, our dreams have a dose of love, a dose of hope and anticipation.
